This Privacy Policy explains how Simple To Do List ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Android application.

1. Information you create in the App

Your task lists, task titles, completion states, and related app content are stored locally on your device. The App does not require an account and does not provide cloud synchronization.

We do not operate a backend service that receives or stores the content of your task lists. If you uninstall the App, clear its data, or lose access to your device, locally stored data may be lost unless preserved by your device's own backup mechanisms.

2. Advertising and third-party services

The App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, and other data needed to provide, measure, secure, and personalize or limit advertising, depending on your region and privacy choices.

The App also uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage privacy and consent choices where required.

3. Internet access

The App's core list and task features are designed to work offline. An internet connection may be used by third-party advertising and consent services, including AdMob and UMP.

4. Consent and privacy choices

Where required, the App may show a consent message before requesting ads. Depending on Google's requirements and your region, you may also be able to reopen privacy options from within the App and change your choices.

5. Data we do not require

The App does not require you to create an account, provide your name, upload a profile, or provide task content to us. The App does not offer cloud collaboration or account-based syncing.

6. Children

The App is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not specifically directed to children. Advertising and consent behavior may be subject to Google Play, Google AdMob, and applicable legal requirements.

7. Security

We aim to minimize the information handled directly by us. However, no device, software, network connection, or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
