This Privacy Policy explains how the Shopping List mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use the App.
Shopping list names, product names, purchased/completed status, product history, frequently used product information, and autocomplete history are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your shopping lists or product history.
Shopping List does not require an account. We do not ask you to provide a name, email address, password, phone number, or other account information to use the App.
Shopping List uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google Mobile Ads and related Google services may process advertising identifiers, device or other identifiers, advertising interactions, ad impressions and performance information, diagnostic information, device information, and approximate geographic information derived from network information such as an IP address.
The App itself does not use GPS or request location permission for advertising. Learn more at Google's partner technologies page.
Where required, Shopping List uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent. Depending on your region, you may be presented with privacy or consent choices related to personalized advertising and data processing.
The core shopping list features work without an internet connection. Internet access may be used by Google AdMob and Google UMP. Your shopping list contents are not sent to our servers as part of these advertising requests.
We do not sell your shopping lists, product history, or other locally stored shopping information. Certain technical information may be processed by Google for advertising, consent management, fraud prevention, security, diagnostics, and ad measurement.
Your shopping lists and product history remain on your device until deleted through the App, removed through Android system controls, cleared with App data, or removed when the App is uninstalled, subject to Android backup and restore functionality.
Depending on your Android settings and Google's backup services, some App data may be included in device backup and restore processes.
Shopping List is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly collect shopping-list content or account information from children through our own servers.
Your shopping lists are primarily stored locally under the protections provided by your Android device. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The App may use Google AdMob for advertising and Google User Messaging Platform for privacy and consent management. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable laws, or third-party services change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
